About
I am Nicholas Wellcome, a Computer Science major working as an intern in the Office of Community Relations at Dutchess Community College where I assist with updates to the college's website and occasionally troubleshoot software for the faculty and staff.
Prior to my current internship I spent almost two years as a student aide in Dutchess's Teaching Learning Center. There I helped administer, troubleshoot, and train faculty in the use of Blackboard, aquire and configure a Linux server for the department, troubleshoot faculty hardware and software (mostly Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite) and work on the department website.
This spring I recieved an AS in Computer Science from Dutchess and in August I will be transferring to SUNY Stony Brook.
The purpose of this site is to keep people in the loop about the projects that I am working on currently and worked on in the past. This will serve as a portfolio of sorts for as long as Dutchess continues to host it.
