Friday workouts at 12:00 in Falcon
Hall! Visit Falcon Hall for more
information about workouts open to the campus community
every Friday from 12-12:50. |
 |
The
Fitness Center is located in Falcon Hall Health and Physical
Education Center. It is an exercise facility that is free
of charge and open to all DCC students, faculty, and
staff. The only requirement to use the Fitness Center is that
you present a current college I.D. Students studying the
areas of fitness and wellness act as supervisors and
trainers. They are there to assist you with your exercise
program. |
 |
Appointments
may be made with trainers to learn how to use the
equipment or to develop a fitness program, but
appointments are not necessary. You may use the facility
during any of the posted open hours announced each fall
and spring semester. Check the DCC message channel,
schedule of events, and college bulletin boards for posted
open hours each semester. Lockers are free and
available each semester. |
 |
The
Fitness Center has a line of circuit strength training
equipment, a free weight area, and
aerobic exercise equipment including treadmills, stair climbers,
bicycles, rowing machines and an elliptical machine. |
 |
Our
Microfit system
provides you with a full fitness assessment, which is a
great
way to set goals and begin an exercise program. You can
have pre and post testing
at the beginning and end of the semester to see if your
fitness level has improved!
To schedule an appointment for fitness testing, contact
Debbie at 431-8475, or
by e-mail at vanburen@sunydutchess.edu |
 |
The Equipment Room is where you can sign register a locker
in the locker room and request the use of other equipment
items. There are shower facilities in the locker rooms. |
 |
Use
the Fitness Center to begin or continue a fitness program,
take a physical energy break during your day, or as a
stress reliever. Don't miss out on using this workout
facility while you are on campus - make fitness part of
your experience at DCC! |
