Extra Help Resources/ Halsey

There are a variety of ways that you can get extra help for your math course. Please try to take advantage of one or more of the opportunities listed below:

Office Hours:  You can meet with me in my office (W-114) during my office hours. Please feel free to come in small groups if you would like.  Oftentimes this allows for a very dynamic and exciting help session.

Math Lab: Washington 2nd floor Room 226    Math Lab Website

During the hours of operation, the supervisors of the room and other student tutors are available to work with students from most courses offered by our department. A schedule for who will be available at various times will be posted on the door of the room.

Keep in mind that, other than the supervisors,  the tutors in the room are also students. They will be able to help you navigate your way through many types of exercises, and can also help you find specific help and answers in your book. They are not expected to be full fledged math teachers, and may sometimes have to refer you back to me to fill in some gaps.

Student Leader:  If I can arrange to have a student leader available for the course, I will let you know.

In general you can expect a Student Leader or a Math Lab Tutor to:
