Conner holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Eastman
School of Music and a Master of Music Degree from the
Manhattan School of Music. He has toured in Europe as a
jazz pianist and has performed in the United States with
several renowned jazz instrumentalists including the late
Gerry Mulligan. He has composed production music
for videos using a state of the art MIDI
studio. In 1995 he was announced first prize winner
in the annual Jazz Composers Alliance Composition Contest
in Boston for an original work for jazz ensemble. A
faculty member at DCC since the fall of 1996 he has been
the
Director of the DCC Chorus, Madrigal Singers and the
DCC Jazz Ensemble. |
