The Performing Arts (PFA) degree program offers talented students the opportunity to focus intensively in music, theatre, dance, or a combination of these performing arts.  Offered for the first time in Fall 2000, the program leads to an Associate of Science degree which prepares students for transfer to colleges and universities offering four-year performance programs or to specialized professional academies. Graduates of the PFA program may choose to begin auditioning immediately for professional or community-based theatre, dance or music productions.

No audition is required to enter the PFA program

Each semester, PFA degree students have the opportunity to audition for roles in theatrical productions. These include drams, comedies, and musicals.

The PFA program may be right for students who ultimately pursue a Bachelor's degree in another field but wish to acquire a solid foundation in the performing arts.
